This beautiful brooch is a based on the famous archaeological find from Stora Ryk, Sweden. It's dated on the 10th century.
Although this replica is bronze casted, which permits us offering it for a very affordable price, the original one was made by the granulation and filigree technique, which makes of this brooch an authentic masterpiece of the scandinavian silversmithing craft (It's exhibited on the National Historical Museum of Stockholm).
This clover-shaped brooch is of a very familiar tipology, and there are several similar finds. It was commonly used by women to close the neck tunic or a coat.
