These long, rectangular bone dices are based on archaelogical finds from Roman Iron Age, and remained common through the turmoil of the Migration Period until the Viking Age.
Characteristic for the bone dice of the Romans and Vikings are the typical circle-dot decoration. The size and drilling of the circular eyes make each bone cube an unique piece.
As was usual with the long bone cubes of antiquity, our replicas are not made with complete precision. The bone cubes may have slight irregularities in shape, size and colouring.
The side lengths of these long Roman cubes are approx. 10 - 35 mm.
Completely handcrafted with bovine bone.
