Product Details
Beautiful pendant, replica of a small statuette found at Lejre, Denmark. Dated from the 10th century.

It represents Odin sitting on his throne Hlidskjalf (In Norse mythology, Hliðskjálf is the high seat of the god Odin allowing him to see into all realm). The birds on the armrests would be the ravens Huginn and Muninn, who gathered information for Odin. The beast-heads might symbolise Odin's two wolves, Geri and Freki.

The original piece is exhibited at the Lejre Museum, Denmark.
Hand made of copper alloy.

Measures: 2.5 x 2 cm.
