Medieval Quillon "Antenae" Dagger - 13th-14th Century
Medieval dagger, for decorative use exclusively. This dagger is a military and civilian weapon with a double-edged blade with a flattened diamond shape. It was named for a short dagger used by English infantry through the 14th Century. Is noted to have a hilt similar to the baselard though with a narrower blade.
Although this particular model dates back to the 14th century, the Maciejowski Bible (circa 1250) shows very similar examples, so this model could also have been used during the 13th century.
Made of high carbon steel (EN45). With handle and pommel made of steel with insertions of brass.
A simple leather scabbard is included.
