Medieval folding chair made of hardwood. We craft them from alder, birch, ash or similar wood, but preferably from oak.
Comfortable and solidly crafted, however one must be careful with the bar as it can break like all things when too much force is applied.
It has a characteristic backrest with an axis in which a peg holding the seat moves. That makes it very comfortable as it gives some relief to your back whilethe feast lasts.
Functional and very easy to transport, because when folded it saves space.
All our furniture as standard is impregnated with a special oil wax to protect it.
An example of such a chair can be found in the painting: JESUS WITH DOCTORS FROM DOMINICAN ALTARPIECE, C.1470-80 BY MARTIN SCHONGAUER
