This discoidal brooch is a replica of the pieces found at Birka, famous comercial site in Mälaren lake, big swedish lake in Svealand (10th century).
It's decorated in Borre style, and it presents zoomorphical motifs, which look like some kind of animal heads (Bears?).
The original brooches were found in the 1095, 967 and 511 Graves at Birka, but other similar brooches were also found near Trondheim, at Norway. This reproduction is handmade with bronze.
Diameter: 2.6 cm.
