A historical Saxon tent also known as Norman. Such tents were commonly used by knights and soldiers from the early Middle Ages.
The tent is 3m wide, 6m long and 2.3m high, it can comfortably accommodate 2-4 people.
The frame is made from sturdy wood like ash or beech. The mast is divided into two parts for easier transport, the longest element is 1.7m long.
In the standard option, the tent is made from natural coloured technical cotton of 300gr/m2 denisty. This fabric, however, will not withstand prolonged rain, recommended for countries with a warm climate. We suggest to order impregnated fabric which has been tested and impregnated by the manufacturer, not by a subcontractor or by hand which will guarantee that the tent is rot resistant and waterproof. We also provide and option to use a colored and impregnated fabric for the Saxon tent.
Per request we also can custom paint our medieval tents.
In the footer of the store there is a card of available colors. We can paint the knights pavilion in historical motifs.
The traveling knight needed a lot of equipment to live comfortably, that’s why the Saxon tent was richly equipped with furniture and transport boxes.
We recommend visiting our furniture section to fully compliment your Saxon tent.
