Folding knife for medieval reenactment, with authentic bone handle and stainless steel blade.
This practical folding knife is inspired by different anglosaxon finds from the Viking Age. While the handle is based on a geometric decoration that we can see in finds as York, the mechanism is inspired by different swivelling-bladed knifes as the archeologicals finds from Winchester, Thetford or Northampton.
Although this type of knife is dated from the 10th-11th centuries, other similar folding knives were created on later.
Approximated dimensions: Overall length 20 cm, blade of 8.5 cm long.
