Bone comb with folder, 11th century.
This comb is based on two finds. Its typology is based on a find in Hellvi, Gotland. The decoration, is taken from a comb handle found on Björkö, Sweden.
It's made of bone and fine decorated and engraved, presents small brass rivets which join the different parts.
An essential piece in everyday life, whether as a personal care utensil or as a tool for weaving wool.
Measures: 12cm approx.
