Replica of the fibula found in Vågå, Oppland, Norway. Dated from the 9th century.
This brooch with a long needle, decorated with zoomorphic motifs with the shape of animal heads, it also presents a triquetra on its center.
This type of brooch was used vertically and it was its own weight of the ring which ensure the brooch to the cloak.
Measurements: 4.2x 13.5 cm.
