Scandinavian knife based on the archaeological find from Gotland.
The handle is made with thuja root, polished deer antler and alternates brass and leather discs.
Pattern welded steel blade (often called "damascus steel"), made with an antique technique which welds different layers of steel by the forge process. The torsion of different parts and their subsequent union forms the characteristic geometrical pattern and gives the blade an excellent hardness and strength.
Constructed with riveted tang.
Sheath is made of beewax hardened leather and decorated with brass fittings. A beautiful artwork!
Perfect for historical reenactment, hunting or bushcraft.
